Our Primary School |KS2 ‘CSI’ Forensic Science Workshops are perfect if your school is delivering a Detective, Crime and Punishment or Identification topic in your classroom.

This school workshop is a brilliant way to launch your topic or indeed, end the topic by bringing the topic end into the 21st century.  Additionally, our KS2 Science Workshops are great to use in transitioning from year 6 to year 7.

Science stimulates and excites pupils’ curiosity about phenomena and events in the world around them and no time has Science been more relevant than today. It also satisfies this curiosity with the thirst for knowledge, which globally, we are all seeking during these unprecedented times. and during this global pandemic.

Because science links direct practical experience with ideas it can engage all learners at many levels. The scientific method is about developing and evaluating explanations through experimental evidence. This is a spur to critical and creative thought, all pupils learn to question and discuss science-based issues that now may affect their own lives like never before.

Since, March 2020 when the whole country went into lockdown, our children’s education has been severely disrupted.

Our priority in Education is now to re-engage our young children into learning and offering them interventions which are most effective in improving these children’s outcomes, whether that is in the school classroom or during home-schooling sessions.

Re-engaging teenagers most at risk of becoming “invisible” to education and social services is paramount.

Our workshops are designed to not only educate the students about Science, in particular focusing on Forensic Science, additionally, but the workshops are also an excellent source for introducing the students to the Criminal Justice System at an age when it really does matter!

Adapting our Business Model

Like so many small businesses across the country we have had to adapt our business model to meet the ever-changing world, we find ourselves in. We have listened to our teachers and school clients, who have explained the various constraints they are facing both financially and in terms of space available within their schools. This has resulted in staggering lunchtimes, which has an effect on room availability.

Additionally, we appreciate that school’s policies are currently excluding External Suppliers from entering the school’s premises, because of the COVID19 and the guidelines and restrictions served upon the Education sector.

The Solution to the Problem

So our answer to these issues above was to develop and adapt our current onsite delivery CSI workshop program by incorporating all the ‘hands-on’ practical Forensic Science activities but, this time – all the resources are delivered to the school in a box!!!

A box of authentic forensic science resources is packaged and labelled in a box for you to run and supervise a fun, interactive and engaging forensic science session in your classroom.
